a classic point collar, a plain front placket, one patch pocket at the left chest. a yoke across the back with a box pleat under it for movement, buttoned cuffs on a proper placket, and a curved hem that sits cleanly whether it is tucked or left out.
the buttons are mother-of-pearl — the label says so in its own way, declaring that the shirt contains non-textile parts of animal origin, which is how a french brand tells you the buttons are real shell rather than plastic.
