the callum jean in white — khaite's vintage men's-wear cut, done in rigid one hundred percent cotton with no stretch whatsoever. the shape is taken from old workwear: a low-to-mid rise, a leg that bows very slightly through the thigh before tapering, and enough weight in the cloth that it holds its own line instead of following yours.
white denim is the version of this jean that asks something of you, and rewards it. tonal topstitching, antiqued nickel hardware against a blackened waist button, and a clean back with no ornament at all. made in the united states, which khaite does not do across the line.
