simon porte jacquemus took a 1997 trail runner and dyed the entire thing one colour. shaggy rough-out suede over mesh, a smooth leather toe bumper, and a gum lug outsole with jacquemus moulded into the tread. the swoosh is tiny and gold, which is the only thing on the shoe that isn't pink. cream laces on pink webbing loops, and a small nike tab at the throat.
the humara was a proper trail shoe before it was a fashion object, and the sole still looks like it. that tension — a serious outdoor silhouette rendered entirely in hot pink — is the whole joke and the whole appeal.
sizing matters here. this was a women's release, so the us 10 on the label is a women's 10 — roughly a men's 8.5. eur 42, uk 7.5, 27cm.
condition. worn, but lightly. the gum outsoles have barely any tread wear, the suede is clean and the shape is intact. photographed from every angle including the soles.
