the shaping is all done in the knit. narrow ribbed straps, a v at the front and a lower scoop at the back, the body worked close through the waist, and then a flat horizontal band at the drop waist where the skirt is released into finer ribs and falls straight to mid-calf. no zip, no seams doing the work, no stiffening. the hem finishes in a soft rolled rib.

84% linen, which is what you feel first — dry, cool, with that faint irregularity that linen yarn always keeps. the remaining 9% polyester and 7% polyamide give the knit its recovery. made in italy.

this knit is fine and reads semi-sheer against the light. it is unlined. wear it with a slip or over a dress-length slip dress; it was designed to be seen that way.
