the construction is the interesting part. a single toe loop and a wide instep cuff carry the front, with a fine slingback strap crossing behind — so almost nothing touches the foot, and the shoe still stays on. the cuff is where the polished silver b plaque sits, with brandon blackwood engraved around it.
underneath, a squared toe and an 85mm heel in a leather stack finish, cut in an hourglass so it flares out at the floor. the tan of the stacked leather against the black nappa is the whole colour story, and it's the reason these read as designed rather than just black.
condition, honestly. these have been worn. there is visible scuffing and dulling across both footbeds, some small marks in the black nappa, and wear to the heel tips. all of it is photographed straight on. the uppers, the cuffs, the hardware and the straps are all sound. priced for the wear.
