it's built out of sheer panels rather than cut from one piece: vertical seams run the whole length of the dress, narrow through the body and then releasing into godets so the skirt opens out and moves. that panelling is the entire design. cap sleeves, a plain crew neck, a concealed zip down the back, and a floor-grazing hem.
