the front zips on an angle under a wide snap-over storm flap, so it can be worn closed and clean or thrown open with the lapel folded back. a stand collar that holds itself up. snap tabs at both shoulders. two angled flap pockets with snap closures. the sleeves drop well past the shoulder line and the cuffs take a snap tab, and the whole thing is pulled in at the waist by a deep shirred elastic band — which is what gives it the blouson volume through the body rather than letting it hang straight.
this is vegan leather, not hide. abercrombie says so on the hang tag and so does the care label: the face is one hundred percent viscose with a one hundred percent polyurethane coating, over a polyester backing, fully lined in polyester. it has the weight and the matte grain of the real thing and none of the animal. made in cambodia.
